Meet the Team Behind

Townhomes on Prairie

Developer

Jeff Cohen

Jeffrey Cohen brings nearly four decades of hands-on construction experience to The Townhomes on Prairie. After beginning his career practicing law in Chicago while simultaneously renovating residential properties throughout Wrigleyville and Lincoln Park, Jeff discovered that his true passion was building. He founded Canada & Klein, Ltd. in 1988 and has since built a longstanding reputation throughout the Greater Chicago area for quality construction, thoughtful execution and dependable project management.

Canada & Klein’s work spans new construction, custom homes, renovations, additions and design/build projects, with an emphasis on craftsmanship, attention to detail and long-term value. Jeff’s extensive experience allows him to approach construction with both a builder’s practical knowledge and a problem solver’s perspective, carefully considering how a home will function, perform, and endure over time.

That experience is at the foundation of The Townhomes on Prairie. From construction quality to the details buyers may never see, each residence reflects Jeff’s commitment to building homes thoughtfully, responsibly and with lasting quality.

Architect

Peter M. Nicholas

Peter Nicholas, AIA, NCARB, is the founder and president of Nicholas Design Collaborative Ltd., an award-winning Chicago architecture and design practice established in 1989. With decades of experience spanning single-family residences, multifamily developments, mixed-use projects, and design/build construction, Peter brings a depth of architectural and practical building knowledge to The Townhomes on Prairie.

Before establishing his own practice, Peter worked with prominent architecture firms including Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and Booth/Hansen in Chicago. His background combines architectural design with an extensive understanding of materials, construction techniques, and the details required to successfully translate a design from concept to completion.

Nicholas Design Collaborative approaches residential architecture with an emphasis on thoughtful planning, functionality, quality, and enduring design. The firm has completed projects throughout Chicago and the North Shore, including the award-winning Highland Park Modern, a four-residence development near downtown Highland Park

For The Townhomes on Prairie, that experience translates into residences designed around the way people actually live, pairing clean, modern architecture with functional layouts, carefully considered spaces and a strong connection between design and construction.

Interior Designer

Jennifer Lang

Jennifer Liang brings a thoughtful, refined approach to the interiors of The Townhomes on Prairie, creating spaces that feel elevated while remaining comfortable and highly livable.

With an eye for timeless design and modern sophistication, Jennifer focuses on the details that give a home its character, from material and finish selections to the way individual elements work together throughout a space. Her approach balances beauty with function, resulting in interiors that feel cohesive, intentional and approachable rather than overly designed.

For The Townhomes on Prairie, Jennifer’s selections complement the architecture with a fresh, sophisticated aesthetic designed for everyday living. The result is a collection of homes that feels current yet enduring, with carefully considered finishes and details that allow each space to feel polished, welcoming and ready to be made personal.

Meet Jennifer Boudreau

Jennifer and her husband are busy raising two teenage daughters, which means life is filled with carpools, sports, activities, late-night Target runs, and trying to figure out what everyone is eating for dinner. She understands firsthand the juggling act families face and loves helping clients navigate all stages of life. She loves helping all types of clients, whether they’re buying their very first home, making a move from the city, upsizing for more space, or downsizing into a simpler lifestyle.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find Jennifer walking her goldendoodle, Dakota, traveling with her family, or squeezing in a workout at Lifetime Fitness. She’s passionate about health and fitness and spends most mornings strength training or taking yoga and Core Tone reformer classes before starting her day.

Giving back and being involved in the community has always been important to Jennifer and her family.

Above all else, Jennifer values relationships over transactions. Her goal is not just to help clients buy or sell a home, but to become a trusted resource long after closing day.
